One of the spectacular water falls along the West Coast Trail heading towards Carmanah light station. The falls are easily reached within 1/2 hour by boat from OCEAN MIST RETREAT. This rugged coast line has many sights such as this to offer.

These magnificent caves are a popular attraction when out on a eco tour.

Small boats (Zodiac) can enter these caves and observe wildlife resting on the ledges inside. You can enter inside the caves approx. 100 ft.

Caution: Access should only be attempted with a knowledgeable marine guide that is familiar with this area's tides and currents.

THE GANG IS ALL HERE! A group of friends and family meet at the beach that's located only 1/4 mile from OCEAN MIST RETREAT.

This is one of the many recreational activities you will be able to enjoy while vacationing in Port Renfrew.

The beach is a popular attraction for walking, surfing, smelting, beachcombing and evening fires as the sun sets in the horizon.

Pete and Mike are enjoying one of the many outdoor activities that are available in Port Renfrew. Smelting is enjoyed during the months of July and August. Smelts are a tiny, delightful tasting fish and fun to catch...Just ask Mikey!!!

One of our favorite things to do is storm watch. This incredible experience can be witnessed at a multitude of locations.

Some of which are: 3 mile beach, Botanical Beach, Wood's Nose Point and numerous other locations along the Juan de Fuca trail.

Some of the waves can reach as tall as 30 ft. Incredible!!

FISH ON!!!!

A picture perfect morning as the sun comes up over a flat, calm sea and all that can be heard is the screaming of the reel.

Patrick ends up landing a 37 lb tyee.
WAY TO GO, PAT!

SURF'S UP!!

Port Renfrew's sandy beach offers loads of fun for everyone. Surfers enjoy the winter months for the monster waves that frequently show up.

Summer beach bums enjoy swimming, wading, snorkeling and playing in the mild surf. Just ask Mikey!!
